We need specialist mental health HCAs for temporary, last-minute placements across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Guild mental health care assistants can access work in both NHS and private hospitals, police / Garda stations, prisons, custodial services, schools and mental health / psychiatric units. You’ll need to work to our high standards and in return, you’ll receive full professional support from us.
- A minimum of 12 months experience working in psychiatric ICU or forensics
- Evidenced completion of NVQ / BTEC is desirable
- A minimum of 6 months experience in the last 2 years in an acute mental health setting (acute admissions)
- A willingness to work to our company expectations
- Evidence of safety interventions (MAPA) / PMVA training
