Working as an agency HDU (High Dependency Unit) nurse offers numerous advantages that a standard, permanent position may not provide. One of the key benefits is the flexibility that agency work allows. You have the autonomy to choose your own shifts, determining when and where you want to work, and tailoring your schedule to fit your personal life.
At the Guild, our nurses can effortlessly book shifts using our Quick Nurse app. Simply log in to the app, browse available shifts, and select the ones that align with your schedule. With the Guild, you have the option to choose shifts across Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, with opportunities in both NHS/HSE organisations and private healthcare providers.
Another significant benefit of being an agency HDU nurse is the rapid accumulation of experience. By working in a variety of locations and collaborating with different teams, you can gain diverse and extensive experience much more quickly than in a permanent position.
Moreover, the earning potential as an agency nurse is often higher than that of a permanent role. At the Guild, we offer competitive pay rates that reflect the dedication and high level of skill required to provide exceptional care as an HDU nurse.
