Are you a passionate paediatric nurse seeking a dynamic and rewarding work environment?

We are looking for nurses to work in a paediatric community package caring for a child in the Tipperary area. You must be a Registered Children’s nurse or Registered General nurse with paediatric experience.

You would be working as part of our Nurse-led community team and must be registered with the NMBI.

Hours required: 8 x Daytime Hours on Tuesday/Wednesday

  • Provide nursing care to a child
  • Care of a child with a disability
  • Monitoring for signs and symptoms of aspiration/ respiratory distress
  • Management of enteral feeding and medication management
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A valid NMBI pin
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in the last 2 years working on medical and surgical wards, with patients from birth to 18 years old. Specialist nurses will require at least 12 months recent experience.
  • Up-to-date HSEland training
  • Proficient with IV administration
  • A willingness to work to our company expectations
  • Occupational Health clearance
  • Garda vetting

  • Able to pick up shifts at short notice, sometimes with only an hour’s notice. However, we will only contact you for last-minute shifts if you have already told us that you are available to work during those hours.
  • Foster a culture of openness and honesty, communicating effectively with the Guild staff, clients, and patients
  • Able to integrate easily into new teams and be an asset during each shift
  • Flexible and willing to travel to surrounding counties to support clients
  • Reliable and punctual
