How long have you been working with the Guild?

“I have been working with the Guild for nine years now.”

What do you enjoy most about your job?

“My role is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling because I have the opportunity to influence patients’ lives positively. Through my compassion, empathy, and dedication to assisting others, I actively contribute to the well-being of those under my care. The collaborative environment within our team, where we support one another and collaborate to enhance patients’ lives, is a significant source of motivation and satisfaction for me.”

What attracted you to join the Guild?

“Before joining the Guild, I had experience working with another healthcare organisation. However, I desired the flexibility to work in diverse settings and choose suitable hours. The Guild has provided me with extensive exposure to a wide range of experiences over the years, taking me to various locations in Scotland and Northern Ireland. This exposure has made me highly adaptable to different environments. My mantra, “nursing care is consistent regardless of location,” has been a guiding principle that has supported me throughout my journey.”

How do you feel about being our Nurse of the Month?

“This came as a surprise, and I am truly honoured. A massive thank you to everyone who nominated me. Although I am just doing my job, it is rewarding to be appreciated.”
