Emergency nurse practitioner (ENP) jobs

We need emergency nurse practitioners (ENPs) for temporary, last minute placements across Scotland. When working for the Guild on ENP jobs, you can access work in a variety of settings such as minor injury units (standalone or ED), walk-in centres, urgent care centres, primary care centres and GP out of hours.

You’ll need to work to our high standards and in return you’ll receive full professional support from us.

Requirements

  • A valid NMC Pin
  • A willingness to work to our company expectations
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the last 2.5 years practicing as an ENP in an urgent care setting (minor injuries, urgent care or walk-in centres)
  • Evidence of a university accredited course at Level 3 (diploma) or above in clinical reasoning and clinical examination
  • The ability to independently undertake comprehensive consultations for emergency and urgent, undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions, as the first point of contact to treat, refer and formulate a discharge plan
  • Evidenced completion of V300 prescribing course is desirable
